The European Commission has launched MSCA-DN Electrify-It (EI), a groundbreaking Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network to advance electrochemistry in organic synthesis. This initiative unites eight leading universities/research institutes and two industrial partners across Europe to train eight PhD researchers in sustainable chemical processes. Dr. Leyre Marzo Puerta, from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), will coordinate the network.
Electrify-It focuses on three research areas:
- Electrosynthesis for industrially relevant compounds
- Electro-Photocatalysis combining electricity and light
- Advanced tools such as new electrocatalytic materials
